C’est le club de football le plus titr\u00e9 et le plus riche de Belgique. Promu pour la premi\u00e8re fois en premi\u00e8re division du championnat de Belgique en 1921, un niveau qu’il n’a plus quitt\u00e9 depuis 1935, Anderlecht obtient son premier titre national en 1947. Depuis lors, Anderlecht a remport\u00e9 le championnat \u00e0 trente-trois reprises et n’a jamais termin\u00e9 la saison au-del\u00e0 de la sixi\u00e8me place. Sur la sc\u00e8ne int\u00e9rieure, le club a \u00e9galement enlev\u00e9 neuf coupes de Belgique. De fa\u00e7on logique, de nombreux joueurs du club ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s en \u00e9quipe nationale belge.<\/p>

Par ailleurs, Anderlecht compte \u00e0 son palmar\u00e8s cinq troph\u00e9es europ\u00e9ens : la Coupe d’Europe des vainqueurs ce coupe et la Supercoupe d’Europe, remport\u00e9es en 1976 et 1978, ainsi que la Coupe de UEFA, remport\u00e9e en 1983. Ces succ\u00e8s lui valent d’appara\u00eetre au dixi\u00e8me rang du classement des clubs europ\u00e9ens de football du XXe si\u00e9cle selon l’IFFHS, et au premier rang belge, devant le FC Bruges et le Standard de Li\u00e9ge, ses deux principaux rivaux nationaux. La b\u00eate noire du RSCA reste le Royal Charleroi Sporting Club contre qui il a accumul\u00e9 le plus grand nombre de revers en Jupiler League.<\/p>
