Eindhoven – The, so far, rather unsuccessful travels of René van de Kerkhof through the international football world may soon take a new direction. Yesterday, the former Dutch international traveled to Marbella together with his football agent, Bekeffy. In the Spanish resort, Van de Kerkhof will hold talks with the management of the Portuguese club Belenenses and take part in a tournament there. Van de Kerkhof’s transfer remains uncertain. Earlier, he was also in contact with the Canadian club Toronto Blizzard, but that move did not go through either.
