One of most successful transfers of my father, Jenő Békeffy was in 1975, when Dutch national team player Arie Haan, two-time World Cup silver medalist, transferred from RSC Ajax to RSC Anderlecht. Between 1975 and 1981, Arie Haan scored 35 goals in 199 league matches for Anderlecht. He won a Belgian championship title and a Belgian cup victory with the team. He was a member of the team which won the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1976 and 1978.
