MTK player David Kelemen has signed a contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv
David Kelemen, a 23 year old Hungarian who plays for MTK and captains the Hungarian U21 national team, signed a 1 year contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
When Kelemen wasn’t willing to extend his contract at MTK, the coach decided to withdraw him from the starting line-up and place him on the bench. MTK also tried to force Kelemen into resigning for the club by not allowing him to train with the first team.
Kelemen thinks moving abroad and joining Tel Aviv is a great opportunity to test himself in European football. According to him, it is absolutely normal that an MTK academy player signs for a foreign club after 5-6 years.
Kelemen is very happy about this opportunity and feels motivated to play as much as possible for Hapoel which will perhaps open more doors for him in the future.
